Micro Weddings are about keeping things intimate and hassle-free.
Our award-winning Wedding Team have curated a wedding experience with all the beautiful features of the iconic Victoria Baths, plus the peace of mind that all the details have been taken care of for you.
The ceremony will unfold in the stained-glass framed Turkish Rest Room, adorned with flowers from local supplier Flower Studio Manchester. Our independent Celebrant, Tom, will welcome you and guests with a ceremony tailored to you both, and captured by an expert photographer. Then it’s time for you and your guests to raise a toast at your drinks reception, with a backdrop of live music from a classical musician.
All you’ll need to do is invite up to 48 guests and decide on what to wear, we’ll take care of the rest!
The Ceremony
Make your way through the iconic floor-to-ceiling tiled entrance hall to your ceremony room – the spectacular Turkish Rest Room, pictured. Celebrant Tom Guest will perform your bespoke ceremony, which you will have tailored together before the big day. After you’ve tied the knot, you will be able to get those all-important photographs with our in-house photographer, Mark Newton, while your guests enjoy a fizz-filled drinks reception in the Female’s Pool.
Once you’re photos are done, it’s time for carriages for you and your guests to head to your ongoing celebrations. Our experienced Wedding Team will be on hand throughout to make sure you have the best day possible. Then it’s over to you to say “I do!”

What else is included?
- Celebrant – Tom Guest will conduct your bespoke ceremony, including a handfasting and commemorative certificate. Please note this is not a legally binding ceremony.
- Photographer – Mark Newton will capture your ceremony, plus there will be dedicated time to explore the building with Mark to get amazing photos in the iconic spaces.
- Venue Dressing – the venue will be dressed to look its best, including seating and floral arrangements from Flower Studio Manchester
- PA System – available for your ceremony music
- Drinks Reception – a prosecco drinks reception for your guests (soft drinks and Nosessco available)
- Live Music – a cellist or harpist (depending on availability) will entertain your guests during the drinks reception in the Females Pool
- Parking – Available in our car park for up to 30 guests
- Friends Membership – a gift from us to you, enjoy a year of Free Friends membership (following your wedding year) with access to free tour tickets, a variety of free VB event tickets, priority booking for other events, and other benefits to enjoy and explore.

About Us
Victoria Baths is a venue like no other and offers an unconventional backdrop to your wedding. A local icon, the Grade II* listed Edwardian swimming pool, and baths, originally opened in 1906. Hosting three large pools, a Turkish Baths suite, Laundry, plus floor-to-ceiling decorative tiling, and stunning stained glass windows. After closing as a public pool in 1993, a group of dedicated supporters formed the Victoria Baths Trust to preserve the building and its history for future generations to explore. Our weddings are part of our journey to care for the building, with all proceeds being used to fund the operation and preservation of Victoria Baths. All couples are offered free VB Friends Membership for the year following their wedding.
