Victoria Baths is a true gem of a location for film, TV, and advertising shoots. You might recognise the building in dramas such as Peaky Blinders, Cold Feet, It’s a Sin, Mrs. Biggs, Houdini & Doyle, and Life on Mars, as well as programmes like The Antiques Roadshow, many music videos and adverts. There’s undoubtedly something special about the building which lends itself perfectly to the screen.
The Edwardian grandeur of the exterior architecture and rich, decorative interiors provide a ready-made backdrop for a range of period settings. In contrast, the industrial decay of the outbuildings, including the old laundry and filter room, conjure up their own special atmosphere and on-screen presence.

CONFERENCES & CORPORATE EVENTS
If you’re looking for an inspiring venue for your next corporate event, then look no further. Our beautiful historic building is perfect for conferences, corporate entertainment, launches, award ceremonies and anything else you may have in mind.
Our spaces are highly flexible in terms of layouts and potential use, and the Art Nouveau interior creates an atmospheric and stylish backdrop for any event. If you’d like to make the beautiful building even more of a feature, we can offer guided tours of the building as an enjoyable addition for guests and clients.
All profits from event hire are donated to the Victoria Baths Trust, to support the work of keeping the building open and contribute toward the ongoing repairs and maintenance of this special place.

FESTIVALS & LIVE MUSIC
From the annual Independent Manchester Beer Convention, to Red Bull Unlocked, we’ve become an established venue on the festival circuit, loved by organisers and attendees alike. The large open spaces of our three pool halls lend themselves perfectly to larger scale events for up to 1,000 guests. There are also plenty of supplementary spaces for break out areas, seminars, displays, catering or merchandising.
Although the building itself is decorative enough to make a splash for most events, if you have something more bespoke in mind we allow you the flexibility to build stages or install themed sets. We’ve had everything from a secret speakeasy to a big screen cinema, and even a cycling velodrome!
