Victoria Baths would not survive without the support of hundreds of very special friends. Joining this unique group means you become a key part of our mission to help preserve this beautiful building for future generations.
We offer four different types of membership subscription:
- Friend – an annual payment of £20
- Joint Friends – an annual payment of £30 for two people living at the same address
- Friend (for those who are unwaged or on a low income) – an annual payment of £5
- Restoration Supporter – a regular payment of at least £5 per month
Friend Benefits
Your membership comes with a range of benefits including:
- Two printed newsletters a year and email bulletins with events, offers and news
- Free Entry to Victoria Baths own weekend events and guided tours
- Priority booking for Swimming Event tickets
- Discount for occasional events
- Support of our charitable vision
Restoration Supporter Benefits
If you contribute at least £5 a month by Standing Order you will become one of our Restoration Supporters. As a Restoration Supporter you will receive all the same benefits as Friends of Victoria Baths, plus:
- Invitation to special events, including an annual visit to Victoria Baths for a restoration update
- Acknowledgement on our website thank you page (unless you prefer your support to be anonymous)
Funds donated by Restoration Supporters go directly into the Trust’s Building Fund, which has supported much needed building work, including:
- restoration of windows in the Sports Hall and the Females Pool
- restoration of windows in the Turkish Baths Rest Room including the Angel of Purity
- refurbishment of the original Gala Pool toilets
- reinstatement of bricked-up basement windows
- restoration of the Gala Pool AQUA and ZEPHYR stained glass windows
