About
The RNCM Chamber Choir and interdisciplinary company Clod Ensemble transform Manchester’s historic Victoria Baths to welcome audiences into an immersive performance blending choral music and movement.
Guided by Clod Ensemble’s innovative choreography, the 28 singers of the RNCM Chamber Choir move through the intricate architecture of the baths and explore how music and movement can reshape our connection to a historic site.
Leading the audience on a journey through ten interconnected pieces of music, they delve into themes of loss, longing, and memory. The performance features five new commissions from RNCM students alongside existing works from Clod Ensemble’s repertoire, including excerpts from the acclaimed scores for Silver Swan and Zero.
Clod Ensemble is an award-winning performance company led by Suzy Willson and Paul Clark. Through music, movement and performance, the ensemble aims to connect people to themselves, to each other, to their communities and to their environment.
