Welcome Wednesday’s at Victoria Baths
Take a guided tour of Manchester’s Victoria Baths on a Wednesday afternoon. Tea Room and Gift Shop open. General building entry also available. Victoria Baths is open to visitors every Wednesday from April – September.
- Visit the Manchester landmark that won BBC Two’s first Restoration programme in 2003 and take a guided tour of its partly-restored swimming pools, Turkish Baths and Superintendent’s Flat.
- Grade II* listed, the building is remarkably intact, with beautiful stained glass windows, amazing wall tiles and incredible mosaic flooring behind the imposing exterior.
- Victoria Baths served the community for 86 years with three swimming pools, Turkish Baths, a Laundry, Slipper Baths and Aeratone.
Join us for an entertaining and informative tour of the building conducted by one of our experienced volunteer guides. Doors open at 11am for general entry, the guided tour starts at 1pm and lasts approximately 1¼ hours. Throughout the day you can browse and buy souvenirs and gifts in our wonderful Gift Shop and Tea Room will be open, serving hot and cold drinks and snacks.

GENERAL ENTRY
There is no need to book a ticket for General Entry to the building and Tea Room on Wednesdays – just pop in between 11am – 3pm!
With a free kids activity space in our Tea Room and free WiFi access, Welcome Wednesdays are a great day to explore and experience the Baths.

Victoria Baths Trust is a registered charity and relies on the support of the public to continue its work preserving the building for everyone to enjoy and explore.

What’s the refund policy?
Tickets can be refunded in full up to 48 hours before the tour.
Do I have to bring my printed ticket to the event?
Yes please, either on a mobile phone or tablet or as a printout.
Do I have to buy an online ticket for the tour?
Yes, please do. Any tickets remaining on the day will be on sale at the Welcome Desk on a first come, first served basis. You can still visit the building and Tea Room without joining the guided tour.
Is my ticket transferrable?
We will try to accommodate transfers to another date/time, with at least 48 hours notice.
Is it OK if the name on my ticket or registration doesn’t match the person who attends?
Yes, this is fine.
Is Victoria Baths accessible?
There is an access ramp at the main entrance and an accessible toilet and baby change facilities. The ground floor is completely accessible, including the Café and Gift Shop. Currently we do not have 1st floor lift access. If you need help during your visit, please speak to the staff or a volunteer, who all wear name badges. Blue Badge holders can park directly in front of the building.
