For the first time ever, Victoria Baths will bring you all the thrills of Halloween with a spooktacular silent disco. The Silence of the Baths will set your heart racing and send tingles running down your spine with a takeover by legendary Girls on Film plus special guests THT GRL (Not Bad For A Girl) and DJ MX WORLD.

For more than ten years Girls on Film have been enthralling clubbers at venues around Manchester. This Halloween they’re back, with their entourage of performers, for their first appearance at Victoria Baths. Girls on Film x Victoria Baths brings an outrageous Halloween silent-but-deadly disco to let’s face it, the best Halloween venue in town.

A building once abandoned, a labyrinth of corridors and over 100 years of history… Victoria Baths was made for a fright night like this. With every space dressed for the occasion, we invite you into a world where the line between eerie and enchanting blurs.

🎧 Three DJs, One Unforgettable Night: Headphones at the ready as Hostess with the Mostess Hattie Pearson takes over channel 1 playing the best 80s/90s throwbacks. Plus, special guests THT GRL (Not Bad For A Girl), Manchester’s collective of women and non-binary babes who just want to have fun, will be heading up channel 3 with a mix of all their biggest belters! Whilst multi-genre, non-binary Northern powerhouse DJ MX WORLD provides the 00s bangers on channel 2.

🎃 Discover the Haunted (pool) Halls: Enter a world where the line between eerie and enchanting blurs, as Victoria Baths transforms into a wicked wonderland of Halloween decorations. Taking over the ground floor, the pool halls and Turkish Baths will be open to explore, with the silent disco taking place in the Sports Hall.

🍸 Bar & Cocktails: Head to the VB Bar for spirits, chasers and other exciting elixirs. Including craft-beers, specially conjured cocktails and mysterious mocktails, plus a range of tasty non-alcoholic tipples.

📸 Photo Ops: Capture your spooktacular memories with a selfie station, photo opportunities across the spaces and the glorious background of the iconic Grade II* listed Victoria Baths.

What’s the refund policy?

Tickets can be refunded in full up to 72 hours before the event – please request via Eventbrite.

Do I have to buy an online ticket?

Yes! We advise you book this event in advance to avoid disappointment. There might be some tickets available on the door but these will be limited.

Is it OK if the name on my ticket or registration doesn’t match the person who attends?

Yes, this is fine.

Why do you ask for donations?

Victoria Baths Trust is a registered charity and does not receive any core funding from the government. We therefore depend heavily upon donations to carry out our work.

We are enormously grateful for every donation received, regardless of value. Each person who supports the Trust becomes part of our unique history and, more importantly, our future.

Is Victoria Baths accessible?

There is an access ramp at the main entrance and an accessible toilet and baby change facilities. The ground floor is completely accessible, including the evening performance space. Currently we do not have 1st floor lift access. If you need help during your visit, please speak to the staff or a volunteer, who all wear name badges. Blue Badge holders can park directly in front of the building.

Are children welcome at this event?

The Silence of the Baths is an 18+ only event.

Can I take photographs at the event?

Photography and filming for personal use is permitted anywhere inside the building unless otherwise stated. Photos taken inside may not be sold or used for commercial gain. We will be taking photographs for publicity at the event; if you would prefer not be photographed please ask at the Welcome Desk for a wristband.
