Tour and Explore Victoria Baths

Guided Building Tours – £2 General Entry – Tea Room
Visit an iconic Manchester landmark and take an optional paid guided tour of the partly-restored swimming pools, Turkish Baths, and Superintendent’s Flat. Discover the remarkably intact Grade II* listed building with beautiful stained glass windows, amazing wall tiles, and incredible mosaic flooring behind the imposing exterior.
We are open from 12noon – 3pm, with the last entry at 2.30pm. Our Tea Room, Gift Shop, and all our spaces are available to explore from 12noon.
Entry is £2 per person with all proceeds supporting our ongoing charitable aims and the preservation of Victoria Baths.
Discover VB Guided Tour

Sunny Sundays are an opportunity to explore Victoria Baths, to experience it in its full glory, book one of our excellent and informative tours! An experienced volunteer guide leads our Discover Victoria Baths tour and covers the heritage and history of the Baths while taking you through the beautiful building. Our Sunday Tour starts at 1 pm and lasts approximately 1¼ hours. Tour tickets are available to purchase in advance and include the £2 entry fee. Limited tickets may be available on the door but we advise booking online for our tours to avoid disappointment.

Tour tickets for Under 18’s are free but must be accompanied by an adult ticket holder.

Browse and buy souvenirs and gifts in our wonderful Gift Shop and visit our beautiful Tea Room with its stained glass windows and elaborate wrought iron ceiling, serving hot and cold drinks, snacks, and a bookable Cream Tea.

Prices

  • Guided Tour – £9 per person, including entry fee
  • General Entry – £2 book online or on the door
  • U18s and VB Friends are Free Entry (plus free tour tickets, spaces are limited)
  • Cream Tea – £6 per person (please book in advance)

Times

  • 12noon – Doors Open
  • 1pm – Tour begins (approx. 1 hr 15 mins)
  • 2.30pm – Last entry and last orders in the Tea Room
  • 3pm – Building Closes
Pool Arts at Victoria Baths

2024 will see a series of exhibitions taking place at Victoria Baths, in partnership with local art collective Pool Arts. Beginning with “A Work in Progress” – a cross-section of the diverse and varied work of the Pool Art’s collective. Find the exhibitions in the Tea Room.

Visiting with young ones?

Across the Summer Holidays, our drop-in craft and colouring station will be open in the Females Pool, with a range of toys and games to play with, plus the whole building to explore with our Miles of Tiles activity trail!

Victoria Baths Trust is a registered charity and, relies on the support of the public to continue its work preserving the building for everyone to enjoy and explore.

You can also visit us every Wednesday for our Welcome Wednesday openings, 11am – 3pm, entry is free plus optional guided tours.

Cream Teas 
To make your visit extra special, enjoy a delicious Cream Tea in our beautiful Tea Room – a large fruit scone accompanied by butter, strawberry jam, clotted cream, and refillable tea or coffee. Jam first or cream… it’s up to you! Available to book in advance – £6 per person.General Entry – £2
You don’t need to book in advance to explore the building or visit the Tea Room and Gift Shop on Sunday – pop in between 12nonn–3pm.
