We are open every Tuesday from the 21st April to September 29th for all to explore!

Victoria Baths is a Grade II* listed building and is remarkably intact. Visit on a Welcome Tuesday and discover the beautiful stained glass windows, amazing wall tiles, and incredible mosaic flooring behind the imposing exterior.

Welcome Tuesday entry is free, donations are always welcome and help us keep Victoria Baths open for all to enjoy.

Our entertaining and informative Discover Victoria Baths tour is led by an experienced volunteer guide. Doors open at 11 am for free general entry and the guided tour starts at 1pm, lasting approximately 1¼ hours.

Browse and buy souvenirs and gifts in our wonderful Gift Shop and visit our beautiful Tea Room with its stained glass windows and elaborate wrought iron ceiling, serving hot and cold drinks, snacks, and a bookable Cream Tea.

General Entry

You don’t need to book to explore the building or visit the Tea Room and Gift Shop on a Tuesday – it’s free to pop in between 11am–3pm (last entry 2.30pm). Wander the spaces at your own pace and take time to visit our History Exhibition and immerse yourself in the history of the Baths.

Please make a donation if you can – we have both cash and contactless donation points in the building.

Discover VB Tour

Discover more with our Guided Tours. Every Tuesday at 1pm our expert tour guides take people further into the heritage of the building and the important part it has played in Manchester’s history. Tour tickets are available to book in advance, limited tickets may be available on the door but booking is recommended to avoid disappointment.

Cream Tea

To make your visit extra special, enjoy a delicious Cream Tea in our beautiful Tea Room – a large fruit scone accompanied by butter, strawberry jam, clotted cream, and tea or coffee. Jam first or cream… it’s up to you!

Priced at £7.50, you need to book in advance. You will be able to add your Cream Tea at checkout.

Tuesday Tea Room

Our tea room serves a range of hot and cold drinks, alongside a tasty selection of loaf cakes, biscuits, and crisps. Unfortunately, we aren’t able to offer sandwiches or lunch items on Tuesday due to our limited opening hours. Our tasty cream teas are available for booking online in advance.
