Welcome Tuesday X Cultural Welcome – Tuesday 7 October
This event is the final Welcome Tuesday of the year – the general public are more than welcome to join us in welcoming the new students to the city. There will be Discover tour at 1pm for general admittance but the additional tours will be for students only.

Welcome to Victoria Baths—once Manchester’s most spectacular leisure centre. Today, the chlorine is gone, but the Baths is still dedicated to making people’s lives better.
A community-powered cultural hub, it’s bursting with creativity, heritage, and the kind of atmosphere that makes ideas feel possible.
It’s not a gallery. It’s not a museum. It’s a big, beautiful, slightly bonkers building full of stained glass, empty pools, and amazing light.
We’re excited to dedicate a day to welcoming Manchester’s newest students—with a mix of exploration, creativity, and relaxation at Victoria Baths.

11am – Doors Open
11:30pm – Off Limits Tour – Students Only (approx. 1 hr 15mins)
1pm – Tour begins (approx. 1 hr 15 mins)
1:30pm – Behind the Screens Tour – Students Only (approx. 1 hr 15mins)
2pm – Last entry and last orders in the Tea Room
3pm – Building Closes
Our tea room and shop will be open throughout the day – we advise you book in advance if you would like one of our cream teas!
