DESCRIPTION:Welcome Wednesday’s at Victoria Baths\nTake a guided tour of Manchester’s Victoria Baths on a Wednesday afternoon. Tea Room and Gift Shop open. General building entry also available. Victoria Baths is open to visitors every Wednesday from April – September.\n\n\n\nVisit the Manchester landmark that won BBC Two’s first Restoration programme in 2003 and take a guided tour of its partly-restored swimming pools\, Turkish Baths and Superintendent’s Flat.\n\n\nGrade II* listed\, the building is remarkably intact\, with beautiful stained glass windows\, amazing wall tiles and incredible mosaic flooring behind the imposing exterior.\nVictoria Baths served the community for 86 years with three swimming pools\, Turkish Baths\, a Laundry\, Slipper Baths and Aeratone.\n\nJoin us for an entertaining and informative tour of the building conducted by one of our experienced volunteer guides. Doors open at 11am for general entry\, the guided tour starts at 1pm and lasts approximately 1¼ hours. Throughout the day you can browse and buy souvenirs and gifts in our wonderful Gift Shop and Tea Room will be open\, serving hot and cold drinks and snacks. \n\n11:00   Doors open\n13:00   Tour starts\n14:15   Tour ends\n14:00   Last general building entry\n15:00   Building closes\n\nGENERAL ENTRY\nThere is no need to book a ticket for General Entry to the building and Tea Room on Wednesdays – just pop in between 11am – 3pm! \n\n\nWith a free kids activity space in our Tea Room and free WiFi access\, Welcome Wednesdays are a great day to explore and experience the Baths. \nWEDNESDAY OPENING PRICES\nGuided Tour – £8 (Free fir Friends of Victoria Baths / Under 16s) \nGeneral Entry to the building and Tea Room (no Tour) – Pay What You Feel / Free (please make a donation when you visit if you can afford to – we have both cash and contactless donation points in the building) \nGROUPS\nIf you are interested in joining our guided tour with a group of 6 or more\, please get in touch with us directly. \nVictoria Baths Trust is a registered charity and relies on the support of the public to continue its work preserving the building for everyone to enjoy and explore.  \nTop image of Victoria Baths © Andrew Billington Photography \nFAQs\nHow can I contact the organiser with any questions? \nRing the Victoria Baths office on +44 (0)161 224 2020 or email enquiries@victoriabaths.org.uk. \nWhat’s the refund policy? \nTickets can be refunded in full up to 48 hours before the tour. \nDo I have to bring my printed ticket to the event? \nYes please\, either on a mobile phone or tablet or as a printout. \nDo I have to buy an online ticket for the tour? \nYes\, please do. Any tickets remaining on the day will be on sale at the Welcome Desk on a first come\, first served basis. You can still visit the building and Tea Room without joining the guided tour. \nIs my ticket transferrable? \nWe will try to accommodate transfers to another date/time\, with at least 48 hours notice. \nIs it OK if the name on my ticket or registration doesn’t match the person who attends? \nYes\, this is fine. \nIs Victoria Baths accessible? \nThere is an access ramp at the main entrance and an accessible toilet and baby change facilities. The ground floor is completely accessible\, including the Café and Gift Shop. Currently we do not have 1st floor lift access. If you need help during your visit\, please speak to the staff or a volunteer\, who all wear name badges. Blue Badge holders can park directly in front of the building.
