DESCRIPTION:Join us as our annual Festive Winter Fair returns to Victoria Baths! \nExplore over 50 handpicked stalls from Manchester makers featuring a wide variety of high-quality\, handcrafted goods such as art\, jewelry\, prints\, ceramics\, Christmas decor\, booze\, and more. \nGet the festive feeling with performances from local choirs\, and enjoy seasonal treats like mulled wine\, proper coffee\, mince pies\, cakes\, and more in our Tea Room. \n \nStart your Christmas shopping in style and soak up the festive atmosphere. Plus… \n\nExplore the magnificent Grade II* listed building\, including the three pool halls\, Turkish Baths\, and entrance halls.\nOur Off limits tour is back by popular demand! You’ll get to experience places usually inaccessible\, discovering the real secrets of Victoria Baths! You will explore the undercrofts of the pool spaces\, the out buildings and the filter rooms. This tour involved stairs\, uneven floors and small spaces so we have limited tickets to 15 people and recommend that the tour is unsuitable for those with limited mobility. The tour costs £10\, and includes entry to the Festive Winter Fair\, starting at 12:30 pm and lasting just over an hour.  Please note there is only one tour available at this event – please book in advance to avoid disappointment.\nEnjoy live performances from local choirs in the deep end of the females pool\n\nTickets are available on the door. \n📅 Sunday 30th November\n⏰ 11 am – 4 pm (last entry 3pm)\n💷 Entry £4 (under 18s free) // Tour + Entry £10\n👉 Guided Tour – 12:30 pm\n🎼 Choirs from 11:30 am & throughout the day\n🍰 Tea Room; with festive treats\, proper coffee and mulled wine\n🎁 VB Gift Shop with unique Victoria Baths and Manchester inspired gifts\, including tea towels\, mugs\, postcards\, and even small-batch VB Gin! \n \nSupporting Victoria Baths\nVictoria Baths Trust is a registered charity that relies on the public’s support to continue its efforts to maintain this wonderful building. Buying an entry ticket\, a cup of tea\, and a cake in our Tea Room or a gift from our Gift Shop all help to preserve the building and keep the Baths open for future generations to explore and enjoy.

DESCRIPTION:Join Manchester Camerata for a special live performance at the iconic Victoria Baths\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nA chance to see the UKs most pioneering orchestra in a truly unique and atmospheric venue. \nThis concert celebrates two composers who bridge centuries and musical stlyes: the contemporary\, boundary pushing sounds of Anna Meredith\, and the timeless genius of Beethoven. \nWe begin with ‘Lanolin’ by Anna Meredith\, a composer known for her bold\, imaginative approach to sound. Beethoven’s String Trio in D is a work full of energy\, known for its technical challenges and invention. It’s a piece that showcases Beethoven’s early brilliance and his instinct to challange musical norms. Meredith’s scrying is rhythmic\, playful and full of suprises. Merging elements of contemporary classical with electronica and experimental rock\, it’s a vivid example of her innovative style. The evening closes with Beethoven’s Septet\, a charming elegant piece that was an instant hit in it’s time\, and is still as relevant today\, more than two centuries on. \nWonderful music in a magical building\, this promises to be a event that you won’t forget.
