DESCRIPTION:Visit an iconic Manchester Landmark!\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nWe are open every Tuesday from the 21st April to September 29th for all to explore! \n \nVictoria Baths is a Grade II* listed building and is remarkably intact. Visit on a Welcome Tuesday and discover the beautiful stained glass windows\, amazing wall tiles\, and incredible mosaic flooring behind the imposing exterior. \nWelcome Tuesday entry is free\, donations are always welcome and help us keep Victoria Baths open for all to enjoy. \nOur entertaining and informative Discover Victoria Baths tour is led by an experienced volunteer guide. Doors open at 11 am for free general entry and the guided tour starts at 1pm\, lasting approximately 1¼ hours. \nBrowse and buy souvenirs and gifts in our wonderful Gift Shop and visit our beautiful Tea Room with its stained glass windows and elaborate wrought iron ceiling\, serving hot and cold drinks\, snacks\, and a bookable Cream Tea. \nGeneral Entry \nYou don’t need to book to explore the building or visit the Tea Room and Gift Shop on a Tuesday – it’s free to pop in between 11am–3pm (last entry 2.30pm). Wander the spaces at your own pace and take time to visit our History Exhibition and immerse yourself in the history of the Baths. \nPlease make a donation if you can – we have both cash and contactless donation points in the building. \nDiscover VB Tour \nDiscover more with our Guided Tours. Every Tuesday at 1pm our expert tour guides take people further into the heritage of the building and the important part it has played in Manchester’s history. Tour tickets are available to book in advance\, limited tickets may be available on the door but booking is recommended to avoid disappointment. \nCream Tea \nTo make your visit extra special\, enjoy a delicious Cream Tea in our beautiful Tea Room – a large fruit scone accompanied by butter\, strawberry jam\, clotted cream\, and tea or coffee. Jam first or cream… it’s up to you! \nPriced at £7.50\, you need to book in advance. You will be able to purchase your cream tea with your ticket \nAdditional Tours on Selected Dates \nBehind the Screens Tour \n\n\nStep into the real filming spots of Peaky Blinders\, Life on Mars\, Cold Feet and loads more with Victoria Baths’ Behind the Screens tour\, exploring hidden areas\, original props and the exact locations where iconic scenes were shot. It’s a cracking behind‑the‑camera wander for anyone who loves great telly or a bit of Manchester magic. \nAvailable at 11:30am on 28th July\, 18th August and 8th\, 22nd September \nOff Limits Tour \nOur Off Limits tour gives you the chance to dive into the hidden\, atmospheric corners of Victoria Baths that most visitors never get to see. You’ll venture beneath the pool halls into the undercrofts\, wander through the outbuildings and step inside the filter rooms\, discovering the building’s real secrets and stories as you go. It’s an intimate\, behind‑the‑scenes experience with just 15 tickets available\, and because the route includes stairs\, uneven floors and tight spaces\, it’s not suitable for those with limited mobility. \nAvailable at 11:30 on 1st September and 15th September \n\n\n \nPrices \n\nGuided  Tours – £10 (Victoria Baths Friends / Under 16s – Free)\nGeneral  Entry – Pay What You Can / Free\nCream Tea – £7.50 each\n\n  \n \nTuesday Tea Room \nOur tea room serves a range of hot and cold drinks\, alongside a tasty selection of loaf cakes\, biscuits\, and crisps. Unfortunately\, we aren’t able to offer sandwiches or lunch items on Tuesday due to our limited opening hours. DESCRIPTION:The Big Board Game Takeover  \nTuesday 18 August\, 11am to 3pm  \nGet ready for a day of games\, challenges and family fun as Victoria Baths is taken over by a giant board game\, board game cafe and playful activities for all ages.  \nGiant Snakes and Ladders in the Gala Pool  \nOur empty Gala Pool becomes a huge Snakes and Ladders board. Eight players enter each twenty minute session and battle it out to reach the final square. Only one winner per game. You must book your session when purchasing your ticket. Spaces are limited.  \n \nActivities on the day  \n📖 Storytelling with The Short Story Lady 1pm to 2pm A lively hour of tales\, imagination and fun for children. Perfect for families who love a good story.  \n🎲 Board Game Cafe in the Sports Hall Drop in\, grab a table and choose from a big selection of board games. From quick and silly games to longer strategy challenges\, there is something for everyone. Stay for ten minutes or settle in for the afternoon.  \n🧘 Family Yoga Session 2pm to 3pm Bring the family together for a playful yoga adventure in the beautiful surroundings of Victoria Baths. Designed for children aged four and over and their grown ups\, these sessions mix movement\, touch and sound to encourage curiosity\, connection and confidence. You will explore simple poses\, breathing activities and mindful games that invite laughter\, relaxation and a chance to move\, stretch and unwind as a family. No previous yoga experience needed. Wear comfortable clothing and come ready to play.  \nImportant information for yoga Children must be aged four or over. All children must be accompanied by an adult. DESCRIPTION:The Big Paper Aeroplane Showdown\nTuesday 25 August\, 11am to 3pm\nJoin us for a day of crafting\, colour and friendly competition as Victoria Baths becomes a giant aeroplane hangar. Build it\, decorate it\, launch it and see how far your creation can fly. \nOur empty Gala Pool transforms into a huge crafting hangar filled with everything you need to make and decorate your perfect paper aeroplane. Create something sleek\, colourful or completely wild. When your plane is ready\, head up to the Sports Hall Balcony which becomes our official launch zone. Throw your plane into the pool and see how far it travels. We will measure every throw and keep a running leaderboard throughout the day. \nThere are two prizes: • Furthest Throw • Best Decorated Plane \n \nActivities on the day\n📖 Ten Tickling Toes Storytelling Session 11am. A joyful session with local author Morag Dennett celebrating her charming book Ten Tickling Toes. Expect songs\, nursery rhymes and plenty of fun for babies and younger children. Copies will be available to buy with a book signing afterwards.
