DESCRIPTION:This event is the final Welcome Tuesday of the year – the general public are more than welcome to join us in welcoming the new students to the city. There will be Discover tour at 1pm for general admittance but the additional tours will be for students only.  \nBook your tickets here \nThis event is part of The Cultural Welcome – a week of events designed to help students discover the creative and cultural spaces of Manchester’s Knowledge Quarter. Find out more. \nWelcome to Victoria Baths—once Manchester’s most spectacular leisure centre. Today\, the chlorine is gone\, but the Baths is still dedicated to making people’s lives better. \nA community-powered cultural hub\, it’s bursting with creativity\, heritage\, and the kind of atmosphere that makes ideas feel possible. \nIt’s not a gallery. It’s not a museum. It’s a big\, beautiful\, slightly bonkers building full of stained glass\, empty pools\, and amazing light. \nWe’re excited to dedicate a day to welcoming Manchester’s newest students—with a mix of exploration\, creativity\, and relaxation at Victoria Baths. \nExplore \nJoin a free student tours and get access to parts of the building usually closed to the public. \nSoak up the history\, snap some pics\, and uncover the stories behind this iconic space. \nCreate \nFor one day only\, one of our empty pools becomes a giant canvas. \nVictoria Baths has inspired everyone from Drake to Chanel\, local artists to students—and now it’s your turn to make something unforgettable. \nUnwind \nFree hot drinks for all students. \nCome have a brew\, take a wander\, and see what Victoria Baths might offer during your time in Manchester—whether you’re into painting\, poetry\, photography\, or just curious. \nWe’d love to meet you! \n  \nBook your tickets here \n  \nTimes \n11am – Doors Open \n11:30pm – Off Limits Tour – Students Only (approx. 1 hr 15mins) \n1pm – Tour begins (approx. 1 hr 15 mins) \n1:30pm – Behind the Screens Tour – Students Only (approx. 1 hr 15mins) \n2pm – Last entry and last orders in the Tea Room \n3pm – Building Closes \nOur tea ​room and shop will be open throughout the day – we advise you book ​in advance ​if you would like ​one of our cream teas! \n  \nBook your tickets here
