DESCRIPTION:Visit an iconic Manchester Landmark!\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nWe are open every Tuesday from the 21st April to September 29th for all to explore! \n \nVictoria Baths is a Grade II* listed building and is remarkably intact. Visit on a Welcome Tuesday and discover the beautiful stained glass windows\, amazing wall tiles\, and incredible mosaic flooring behind the imposing exterior. \nWelcome Tuesday entry is free\, donations are always welcome and help us keep Victoria Baths open for all to enjoy. \nOur entertaining and informative Discover Victoria Baths tour is led by an experienced volunteer guide. Doors open at 11 am for free general entry and the guided tour starts at 1pm\, lasting approximately 1¼ hours. \nBrowse and buy souvenirs and gifts in our wonderful Gift Shop and visit our beautiful Tea Room with its stained glass windows and elaborate wrought iron ceiling\, serving hot and cold drinks\, snacks\, and a bookable Cream Tea. \nGeneral Entry \nYou don’t need to book to explore the building or visit the Tea Room and Gift Shop on a Tuesday – it’s free to pop in between 11am–3pm (last entry 2.30pm). Wander the spaces at your own pace and take time to visit our History Exhibition and immerse yourself in the history of the Baths. \nPlease make a donation if you can – we have both cash and contactless donation points in the building. \nDiscover VB Tour \nDiscover more with our Guided Tours. Every Tuesday at 1pm our expert tour guides take people further into the heritage of the building and the important part it has played in Manchester’s history. Tour tickets are available to book in advance\, limited tickets may be available on the door but booking is recommended to avoid disappointment. \nCream Tea \nTo make your visit extra special\, enjoy a delicious Cream Tea in our beautiful Tea Room – a large fruit scone accompanied by butter\, strawberry jam\, clotted cream\, and tea or coffee. Beneath the beautiful stained glass and the echoes of this much loved Manchester landmark\, you’ll be guided through a practice of mindful movement\, breathwork (pranayama) and meditation. Together we’ll create space to pause\, soften and reconnect\, drawing inspiration from the calm and grandeur of this remarkable building. \n \nDebbie’s teaching is warm\, inclusive and centred around choice. Adaptations and options are offered throughout\, making the session accessible to all bodies and welcoming of neurodivergent participants\, disabled people\, those managing a range of conditions or injuries\, and anyone who simply prefers a gentle\, somatic approach. \n \nWhether you’re new to yoga or have practised for years\, this is an opportunity to move\, breathe and be still in one of Manchester’s most atmospheric and beautiful spaces. \nAfter the session\, the whole building will be available to explore and the Victoria Baths Tea Room will be open for tea\, coffee and sweet treats. \nA wonderful morning that will leave you feeling grounded\, refreshed and restored. \nTickets are £15 and place are limited so book now!
