Our Discover Victoria Baths tour is led by an experienced volunteer guide and covers the heritage and history of the Baths whilst taking you through the beautiful building. Our Tuesday Tour starts at 1pm and lasts approximately 1¼ hours. Tour tickets are available to purchase in advance. Limited tickets may be available on the door but we advise booking online for our tours to avoid disappointment. Entry is free! \n \nDiscover VB Guided Tour \nSunny Sundays are an opportunity to explore Victoria Baths\, to experience it in its full glory\, book one of our excellent and informative tours! An experienced volunteer guide leads our Discover Victoria Baths tour and covers the heritage and history of the Baths while taking you through the beautiful building. Our Sunday Tour starts at 1 pm and lasts approximately 1¼ hours. Tour tickets are available to purchase in advance. You can sit down for your cream tea anytime\, but the last orders in the tea room are taken at 2.30pm. \nWe recommend booking a cream tea in advance\, we can’t guarantee there will be any available on the day if we are busy. \n  \nOther things to know… \nOur Tea Room is open from 12am – 3pm and serves a range of hot and cold drinks and light snacks. \nPlease note we do not sell sandwiches/ lunch items on Sunny Sundays– you are welcome to bring your lunch but please feel free to buy other drinks and snacks with us. The booking fees are non-refundable. \n  \nDo I have to bring my printed ticket to the event? \nIt does help if you can have this handy\, but we can also find your booking by the full name of the person who booked the tickets. \n  \nDo I have to buy an online ticket? \nFor general entry no – you can drop in anytime between 11am-3pm (last entry 2.30pm) \nFor the Tour and a Cream Tea please buy your tickets online to avoid disappointment. Any tour tickets remaining will be sold on the day on a first-come-first-served basis. \n  \nIs my ticket transferrable? \nWe will try to accommodate transfers to another date/time\, with at least 72 hours (3 days) notice. \n  \nIs it OK if the name on my ticket or registration doesn’t match the person who attends? \nYes\, this is fine. As long as you know the full name of the ticket purchaser. \n  \nDo I need to buy anything to visit? \nNo\, Victoria Baths is free to enter on Tuesday and is a great place to rest\, explore\, meet\, and work. There is no obligation to purchase anything and you are free to sit in the Pineapple Room – next to our Tea Room. Please note on busier days we may have to ask you to give up a table for a tea room customer\, but there are other spaces to sit across the building. \n  \nDo you allow group bookings? \nIf you are interested in joining our guided tour with a group of 6 or more\, please get in touch directly to discuss a group tour – 0161 224 2020 or email enquiries@victoriabaths.org.uk \n  \nWhy do you ask for donations? \nWhen the Baths closed in 1993\, the local community campaigned vigorously to try to prevent the closure. The Friends of Victoria Baths set up the Victoria Baths Trust\, a charity that aims to repair and maintain the building to bring it back into public use. Since then significant restoration has taken place and the building now has over 30\,000 visitors a year enjoying a wide range of activities including exhibitions\, festivals\, and weddings. There is still a lot of work to be done and the Trust remains determined to bring the amazing building back to its full potential and continue to support the health and well-being of the people of Manchester – its original purpose. \n  \nYou can support Victoria Baths by donating\, becoming a member of the Friends\, becoming a volunteer\, or making a purchase in our tea room and online shop.

Discover the remarkably intact Grade II* listed building with beautiful stained glass windows\, amazing wall tiles\, and incredible mosaic flooring behind the imposing exterior. \n \nDiscover VB Guided Tour\nWelcome Tuesday is an opportunity to explore Victoria Baths for free\, but to experience it in its full glory\, book onto one of our excellent and informative tours! Our Discover Victoria Baths tour is led by an experienced volunteer guide and covers the heritage and history of the Baths whilst taking you through the beautiful building. Our Tuesday Tour starts at 1pm and lasts approximately 1¼ hours. Tour tickets are available to purchase in advance. Limited tickets may be available on the door but we advise booking online for our tours to avoid disappointment. Tour tickets for Under 18’s are free but must be accompanied by an adult ticket holder. \nEnjoy your visit\nBrowse and buy souvenirs and gifts in our wonderful Gift Shop and visit our beautiful Tea Room with its stained glass windows and elaborate wrought iron ceiling\, serving hot and cold drinks\, snacks\, and a bookable Cream Tea. \nVisiting with young ones? Don’t miss a visit to our play area in the Tea Room and check our website for details on free family activities during school half-terms and the Summer Holidays. \nBook your Tour Ticket and Cream Teas here\nPrices\n\nGuided Tour – £9 per person (U18s and VB Friends are Free)\nGeneral Entry – Free\, donations always welcome. Please donate to the Victoria Baths Trust if you can – we have cash and contactless donation points in the building.\nPool Arts at Victoria Baths\n2024 will see a series of Pool Arts exhibitions taking place at Victoria Baths\, beginning with “A Work in Progress” – a cross section of the diverse and varied work of the Pool Art’s collective. Find the exhibitions in the Tea Room. Pool Arts is a collective of artists working to break down the barriers that can exist in the world of art and gets its name from the fact that it began life at Victoria Baths.  This the first time that the organisation has exhibited at the Baths across a whole year and we’re proud to support the work of Pool Arts in raising awareness of the positive role that art and culture can play in the well-being of the community.\nFamily Friendly\nVictoria Baths is a great place for all ages to explore. Pick up a “Miles of Tiles” activity sheet when you arrive (suggested donation £1)\, explore our spaces\, and get involved in our free family activities in half-terms and the Summer Holidays – no need to book.\nDon’t miss our Pool Picnic family day in August\, tickets available on our website from May.\nOther Events\nPlease note there may be times when Welcome Tuesdays has other activities taking place alongside the usual activity such as event setup\, family activity\, and private tours.
